Philippine delegation to visit HK for Manila hostage incident

A delegation led by the Secretary of Tourism of the Philippine government Alberto A. Lim will visit Hong Kong on Thursday on the follow-up action to the Manila hostage incident, announced a spokesperson of the Hong Kong government on Wednesday.
The delegation will meet Hong Kong's Chief Executive Donald Tsang, the Secretary for Security Ambrose S K Lee, and other government officials, the spokesperson said.
Members of the Philippine delegation include officials from the Department of Justice, Department of Foreign Affairs and Department of Tourism.
In an 11-hour hostage-taking incident on Aug. 23, a dismissed Philippine police officer hijacked a tour bus carrying 25 people, including 21 tourists from Hong Kong. The incident ended in a bloody carnage with eight Hong Kong tourists killed.
