A delegation of the National People's Congress (NPC), China's parliament, left here Saturday for an official goodwill visit to Canada and the United States.
The delegation was led by Lu Yongxiang, vice chairman of the NPC Standing Committee.
The delegation was invited by Speaker Peter Milliken of the Canadian House of Commons and Daniel Inouye, President Pro Tempore of the U.S. Senate.
