As Shanghai Expo 2010 is a global stage on which countries from all over the world scramble to display best of their latest achievement, Nepal also finds it an opportunity to show developments achieved so far.

"This is the largest world expo that is happening in developing country China which is our friendly neighbor since ancient time. So this expo is both an opportunity as well as a challenge for Nepal," said Binod Bahadur Shrestha, an official organizer for Nepal''s national participation at Shanghai Expo 2010, in an interview with Xinhua on Wednesday.

"We are striving to erect a well decorated National Pavilion of Nepal at expo reflecting culturally artistic ''Mini Nepal''", said Shrestha, who is Project Coordinator at Implementing Experts Group (IEG).

Since the Shanghai Expo 2010 has come up with the theme "Better City, Better Life", Nepal Pavilion has come up with the theme " Tales of Kathmandu City", capturing important historic moments of the city and its gradual developments with due course of time, according to Shrestha.
