Chinese vice premier meets Bosch chairman

Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Dejiang met here Thursday with Franz Fehrenbach, chairman of German industrial giant Bosch Group.

Expressing appreciation for Bosch's longstanding friendly cooperation with China, Zhang said the Chinese government attached great importance to developing automobile and equipment manufacturing industry.

The Chinese government hoped Bosch could fully use its technological advantages to expand new aspects of cooperation, he said.

Fehrenbach said Bosch was willing to promote cooperation with China in the fields of new energy automobile and renewable energy equipment.
