A delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) left here on Sunday for Ukraine and Kazakhstan at the invitation of the Supreme Council of Ukraine and the ruling Nur Otan Party of Kazakhstan.

The delegation, headed by Yu Zhengsheng, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, will also attend the fifth International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) in Astana, capital of Kazakhstan.

The ICAPP, established in 2000, represents some 250 political parties in the Asia-Pacific region.
