Photo: Giant mural unveiled in the African Joint Pavilion of Shanghai World Expo

On June 11, the images on both sides of the African Joint Pavilion of the Shanghai World Expo have been basically completed. The abstract image of trees is rich in strong elements and characteristics of Africa.

At present, a total of 50 countries in Africa and an international organization (AU) have confirmed they will attend the Shanghai World Expo in 2010. There are forty-two African countries and the African Union, which will display in the African Joint Pavilion. The pavilion will be completed to facilitate the display by September this year.
