Premier Wen Jiabao's "trip of confidence" to Europe has won praise from some European media. Right after his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, British newspaper the Financial Times noted Wen's confidence, saying it was in contrast to the pessimism dominating the forum.
Meanwhile, German media said the German government attached great importance to Wen's visit. German newspaper Handelsblatt said Wen showed Berliners how to look on the bright side during hard times.
In Britain, local media gave full coverage to Premier Wen's visit to the country. Analysts say his visit brought confidence to Britons as the country struggles to deal with financial crisis and economic recession. They say the British government is looking forward to enhancing cooperation with China.
