Ma Zhenchuan, director of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, met here Wednesday with Moscow police chief Vladimir Pronin, seeking to enhance communication and cooperation among the police of the two capitals.

The police of Beijing and Moscow have carried out friendly and pragmatic cooperation since they signed a communication protocol in 1998.

The two sides have kept frequent exchanges in police affairs and learnt from each other in security management for major events.
