The United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MICIVIH) recently granted 125 members of the sixth Chinese peacekeeping team in Haiti a "peace medal" for their outstanding contributions to the peace process in Haiti.

China's sixth peacekeeping team to Haiti arrived in the area in mid-December last year. They have successfully completed patrolling Sun City and 11 other regions, stationed at key sites such as Haiti's riot police headquarters, and various types of Haiti carnival armed patrols.

China's sixth peacekeeping team to Haiti will complete their eight-month peacekeeping mission in mid-August and return home.
