Tongan King Taufa'ahau Tupou V left here Wednesday night, wrapping up his week-long state visit to China.
During his first state visit to China since he succeeded to the throne in September 2006, King Tupou attended in the year's annual meeting of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) in Sanya, a scenic city in south China's Hainan Province where he conferred with Chinese President Hu Jintao on the bilateral relations and other issues of common concern.
He also met with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao in his visit to Beijing.
