More than 100 countries and regions have issued stamps in celebration of the Olympic movement and the Beijing Olympic Games. This was announced at "the 29th Olympic Games World Stamp Collection" press conference held on the 8th in Beijing.

"The 29th Olympic Games World Stamp Collection" was jointly licensed by the International Olympic Committee and BOCOG; and issued exclusively by the China National Philatelic Corporation. This event hosted a collection of stamps issued from more than 100 countries and regions and China Post especially for the Beijing Olympic Games. Stamps and postal albums integrate many images of Olympic athletes, the Olympic Games representative building, Olympic Games posters, torches, medals, and other elements of Olympic history.
