The Realizing Dreams Plan, which will help 10,000 excellent migrant workers from the new generation go to college, opened for 2011 fall admission on July 26.

The Communist Youth League's Guangdong Provincial Committee, the sponsor of the project, has built a standard system for the migrant workers to go to colleges by passing the exams. It means that the Realizing Dreams Plan has become a standardized, reproducible and popularized means for educating migrant workers.

At the end of year 2010, Guangdong province developed a plan of interpreting dreams for training excellent new-generation migrant workers. In the spring of 2011, Guangdong selected 100 migrant workers to go to Peking University fully financed by the government. After the experiment, Guangdong province will increase the number of the migrant workers to 10,000 in the autumn.

At the same time, Guangdong province has also published the workbook for the Realizing Dreams Plan. The workbook covers a full set of systems and standards.
