Chen Zhili, vice chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature, met with Mozambique's ruling Frelimo party lawmakers here on Friday.

Chen spoke highly of China-Mozambique relationship, saying the increasingly developing cooperation brought about tangible benefits to the two peoples.

Chen said the Communist Party of China and Mozambique's Frelimo party enjoy traditional friendship, which inject vigor into the state-to-state relations.

Margarida Talapa, head of the delegation and also chairwoman of Frelimo's parliamentary group, said Mozambique is willing to work with China to push forward bilateral ties, as it highly values the relationship.

Mozambique will continue to adhere to the one-China policy, she said.
