The mobile version of Farmers' Daily was officially put online today. Uyunqimg, vice chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), presided over the launch of the mobile newspaper.

This project is a new measure brought forward by the Ministry of Agriculture, and it is aimed at settling the longstanding "agriculture, countryside and farmer" issues in China. It is also one of the "29 promises to Chinese farmers" to be realized this year.

Han Changfu, minister of Ministry of Agriculture, said at the online ceremony that the newspaper should use refined language, vibrant news, profuse and beneficial information to provide service for farmers and cadres at the grassroots level.

The Farmers' Daily mobile version aims to establish a platform for the publishing of agricultural information using the fastest and most convenient way to provide public services in policy, technology, market and weather aspects.
