Central China disciplinary official dies, suicide suspected

A disciplinary official in Luoyang City, central China's Henan Province, fell to his death Thursday afternoon from his apartment, the provincial public security department said Friday in a statement.

An initial probe into the death of Zhang Guangsheng, Party secretary of the commission for discipline inspection of the Luoyang Municipal Public Security Bureau, indicated that it was suicide.

Further investigations into Zhang's death are under way, according to the statement.
