China to spend 197 bln USD on affordable housing construction this year: vice minister

China will invest about 1.3 trillion yuan (196.9 billion U.S. dollars) on building 10 million units of affordable homes in 2011, said Qi Ji, vice minister of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on Wednesday.
