Train, truck collision leaves one injured in north China

A truck driver was injured when his vehicle and a train collided in Tianjin Municipality at noon Friday.
The empty freight train and the truck loaded with rocks collided at a rural intersection of a railway section linking Tianjin to Hebei at about 12:40 p.m..
The first four coaches of the train were derailed and the truck overturned, police officers and railway staff told Xinhua.
The truck driver was hospitalized.
Workers are clearing the site, so traffic can resume as quickly as possible.
Transport authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
