Wang Zhongwei said that the national publicity film is divided into two parts. One is the point-of-view chapter, and the other is the characters chapter. At present, the characters chapter has been completed.
"The characters chapter has two versions. One is a 30-second version and the other is a 1-minute version, and the two versions are mainly meeting the needs of the different organizations that will air the film," Wang said.
Wang Zhongwei said that in the characters chapter Yang Liwei, Yao Ming and other excellent representatives from many fields as well as ordinary people appear in the film, showing a three-dimensional China.
Wang Zhongwei said that according to the present plan, the completed characters chapter is ready to be first played in the United States this month when Chinese President Hu Jintao visits the United States. Subsequently, the State Council Information Office plans to play these two films in succession in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East to boost China's image throughout the world.
In addition to the traditional media, the State Council Information Office will attempt to play the national publicity film on new media, such as the Internet.
