The results of the 2010 survey assessing national organization work was released by the spokesman of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee on Jan. 11.

Survey data showed that the public was generally satisfied with the department's organizational work, awarding it 75.17 marks, 1.34 marks higher than in 2009. In terms of cadre selection, the department was awarded 72.92 marks, 1.63 marks higher than in 2009.

The spokesman said that since 2008, the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee has commissioned the National Bureau of Statistics to carry out a survey of satisfaction with organizational work for three consecutive years.

The current survey still used random sampling and household surveys. There were 79,438 samples of the actual investigation. Survey-takers received 79,091 valid questionnaires, and the effective return rate was 99.56 percent. The survey covers the 31 provinces and Beijing's 168 central and state organs, the central enterprises as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.

The spokesman said that the scores in both organizational work and cadre selection in the 31 provinces increased in 2010, and the satisfaction scores in Beijing's central units have improved markedly.
