Chinese Premier meets Timor-Leste prime minister

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met with his Timor-Leste counterpart, Xanana Gusmao, in Shanghai on Sunday.
China cherishes its friendship with Timor-Leste and hopes to maintain high-level exchanges and increase consultations at different levels, Wen told Gusmao.
Wen added that the two countries should expand cooperation in agriculture, oil and gas exploration, mining and investment to benefit their people.
Gusmao hailed China as an example for developing countries. He thanked China for its unselfish assistance and support, welcoming more friendly cooperation with China.
Gusmao is in China for the opening ceremony of the World Expo Summit Forum and the closing ceremony of the Expo on Sunday.
