China honors disaster relief, rescue workers nationwide

A conference to honor relief and rescue workers in quake and disaster zones around China was held in northwest China's Qinghai Province Thursday.

The conference was jointly held by the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, the State Council and the CPC Central Military Commission, with attendance of Chinese Vice Premier Hui Liangyu.
