7 dead, 33 injured after tourist bus veer off mountain road in north China

At least seven have been confirmed dead and 33 others injured, after a tourist bus veered off a mountain road in Chifeng, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Sunday afternoon.
The tourist bus with 43 people aboard was en route from Anshan City, northeast China's Liaoning Province, to a grassland resort in Keshiketeng Banner, when it veered off a winding road section, at 3:21 p.m., according to the local authorities.
The winding road section is not open to traffic.
Among the dead, five were killed on the spot, and two others died in hospital. So far, three of the 33 injured were still in critical condition.
