The Hong Kong Environmental Protection Department launched Friday the Carbon Reduction-Every Step Counts website in Chinese to showcase successful experiences in emissions reduction.
It will feature emissions-reduction measures adopted by 15 organizations which have joined as carbon audit-green partners in the Green Hong Kong-Carbon Audit campaign, said the Information Service Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region's government.
People can examine the carbon-reduction measures to reduce energy, waste and water consumption.
The campaign was held in July 2008. So far 160 carbon audit-green partners have signed the Carbon Reduction Charter pledging to take carbon emission-reduction measures.
