A middle-aged couple and their three children were found murdered at their home in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Saturday, police said Sunday.

Police officers from Linhe District, Bayannur City, rushed to the site after receiving a call at about 11 p.m. Saturday. Police found the five bodies in the house in eastern Linhe.

Initial investigations showed the victims were Zhang Jianrui, his wife, their two sons aged 24 and 21, and their 8-year-old daughter.

The family came from Shandong Province in east China. They were running a factory in Linhe making furniture materials, police said.

Police are investigating, collecting clues about the suspect.
