First Shanghai World Expo licensed auction held

"The First China 2010 Shanghai World Expo Licensed Products (Diamonds, Gold and Jade) Auction Fair" recently took place in Shanghai where all of the11 products were auctioned successfully. Therefore this auction fair can be called the First World Expo Licensed Product Auction.

In this auction fair, the site auction and global Internet auction went on simultaneously with the total auction amount reaching 21.65 million yuan. Among the auction products, the giant diamond "Star of World Expo" provided by Diamond Bird was sold for 12.6 million yuan, setting the highest price at this auction fair.

Tracing back to the whole history of World Expo, Shanghai World Expo is the first to include diamond products in their licensed products. This auction fair was organized by Shanghai World Expo Licensed Commodity Operation Office and Shanghai Diamond Trade Joint Management Office. 12 famous domestic jewelry enterprises participated in the fair and provided World Expo with licensed products including loose diamonds, diamond jewelries and diamond gifts. Since the opening in February 5, the fair received over 1,000 visitors over total of two and a half days.
