Luxury liner goes on trial voyage in Weihai Bay

The Jade Wei luxury liner greatly expected by tourists at home and abroad, went on a trial voyage in Weihai Bay on March 18.

The Jade Wei luxury liner is a maritime tourism project jointly developed by the Shandong Qiaoxiang Group and a South Korean company.

The four-story liner, which is 65 meters long and 14 meters wide, has a gross tonnage of 1,500. It can accommodate over 1,000 passengers.

It took nine months to build the first large-scale luxury liner of Shandong Province.
