According to a study on netizens' purchasing behavior posted by Tencent.com on October 30, domestic female netizens are very capable of making online purchases. They are not only fond of online shopping, but are also very willing to use credit cards for purchases.

Among the nearly 6,000 female netizens covered in the survey, 75.1% of the female netizens said they had shopped online last year, and over 30% of them spent more than 1,000 yuan on online shopping. The survey also suggests that female netizens are very willing to use credit cards for purchases. 66.9% of female netizens own credit cards, while over 40% have several.

Xiao Mingchao, who conducted the survey, said female netizens are more likely to purchase stylish and trendy items, especially digital products, clothes and financial investment products. They own and consume many more products than those females who are not Internet users.
