On August 8, in order to celebrate the beginning of the Beijing Olympics, Beijing Public Transport Holdings, Ltd. will start issuing Olympics opening ceremony souvenir bus tickets on its buses.

On August 8, when passengers buy tickets on any Beijing Public Transport Holdings bus, they can receive an Olympic souvenir ticket. Each of these tickets costs 1 yuan and will be sold in the same way as regular tickets. Passengers should purchase tickets according to the fare rates on each bus, and the tickets are valid only for that day on the bus where they are purchased. Olympic souvenir bus tickets come in four different designs and will be sold on different bus routes. Because quantities are limited, buses will revert to selling regular tickets after the Olympic souvenir tickets are sold out.
