The Beijing Meteorological Observatory on July 24 opened the Olympic meteorological hotline (68710008) to provide free weather advisory services, including weather forecasts at Olympic venues and historical landmarks and attractions, meteorological conditions, traffic-related weather forecasts, and weather forecasts in Olympic co-host cities, to the public.

In addition, products of a world-class short-term forecasting system will be released to public beginning July 25, according to today’s press conference held by Beijing Meteorological Bureau. From July 25 to September 20 people can visit the Beijing Olympic Meteorological Services website(www. weather2008. cn), and select"B08FDP"(Beijing 2008 Olympic Forecast Demonstration Project) to access information about precipitation, storm tracking, hail and wind. In the "Information" section people can express dissatisfaction and offer suggestions.
