Air China, the country's flagship carrier, said it will begin daily, nonstop air service between Beijing and Macao from Dec. 7.

The new service, which will use a Boeing 737-800 aircraft, will be the first one between the two cities operated by a Chinese mainland airline company.

Air Macao is currently the only carrier on the route.
