Starting from this year, the Chinese Air Force will issue special pilot ID cards to each pilot, according to Chinese Air Command.

The pilot ID has two cards: the main card and the affiliated card. The main card has a special watermark and the cover is blue color. The affiliated card is electronic card, which uses a special encryption technique and records the pilot's personal information.

Chinese Air Force's license is a professional identity, which is mainly used to participate in particular social activities and is needed to prove a pilot's identity. At the same time it is also the instrument of the flight qualification management, which reflects real-time status of the pilot's flight qualifications.
