China to focus on people's livelihood in next five years: minister

China will give top priority to improving people's livelihood in the five years to 2015, minister of the country's top economic planning body said Sunday.

"The move aims to ensure people of all ethnic groups in the country share the fruits of the reform and opening up," Zhang Ping, director of the National Development of Reform Commission, told reporters.
