China aims to put 2.2 percent of its GDP into research and development by 2015, says a draft of the country's 12th Five-Year Plan.

The figure will increase from the 1.8 percent of GDP in 2010, according to the document which has been submitted to the annual session of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature, for deliberation.
