China's top political advisor Jia Qinglin on Saturday returned to Beijing from an official goodwill four-nation visit.
The two-week tour took Jia, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC),to Jordan, Turkey, Laos, and Cambodia.
He made the visit at the invitation of Zaid Al Rifaee, president of Jordan's Senate; Turkish Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan; Sisavat Keobounphan, chairman of Lao Front for National Reconstruction and member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party; and Cambodian Senate President Chea Sim.
