Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has called for more implementation of the Communist Party of China's (CPC) latest creed of Scientific Outlook on Development.

In Wen's article to be published in the CPC Central Committee's Qiushi Journal on Nov. 1, the Premier called on Party members to more actively study the theory.

The Premier stressed that to implement the Party's new theory, China should adapt its economic development to social progress, adapt political reform to economic reform and keep a balance between opening up and self-relied innovation.

Wen asked the Party officials to make more effort to solve more problems in China's scientific development and improve their abilities of governance.
