More foreign leaders have sent messages of congratulations to the Chinese leaders newly elected at the recently concluded First Session of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC) and the First Session of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

The following foreign leaders have sent messages of congratulations to President Hu Jintao, who was reelected president of the country on March 15:

Francois Bozize, President of the Central African Republic (CAR).

Nicolas Sarkozy, President of France.

Abdullah II, King of Jordan.

Nambaryn Enkhbayar, President of Mongolia.

Mohammed VI, King of Morocco.

The following foreign leaders have sent messages of congratulations to Wu Bangguo, who was reelected as chairman of the Standing Committee of the 11th National People's Congress:

Pie Ntavyohanyuma, Speaker of the Burundian National Assembly.

Nicolae Vacaroiu, President of the Romanian Senate.

The following foreign leaders have sent messages of congratulations to Wen Jiabao, who was reappointed Chinese Premier:

Isidore Mvouba, Prime Minister of the Republic of Congo.

Costas Karamanlis, Prime Minister of Greece.

Al-Baghdadi Ali Al-Mahmoudi, Secretary General of the General People's Committee of Libya.

Sanj Bayar, Prime Minister of Mongolia.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister of Turkey.

Nicolae Vacaroiu, president of the Romanian Senate, has sent a message of congratulations to Jia Qinglin, who was reelected chairman of the 11th National Committee of the CPPCC.

Abdul Karim Khalili, vice president of Afghanistan, has sent a message of congratulations to Xi Jinping, who was elected as Vice President.
