Chinese Defense Minister meets Malaysian chief of air force

Chinese Defense Minister Liang Guanglie met in Beijing on Tuesday with Chief of the Air Force of Malaysia Tan Sri Dato' Sri Azizan Bin Ariffin.

Liang, also state councilor, said China and Malaysia enjoy all-round development of bilateral relation in recent years, with mutual trust in politics and important partnership in economy.

Highlighting sound growth of relations between the two armed forces, Liang believed that Azizan's visit will help advance the relations between the two nations and the two militaries, especially the two air forces.

Liang said China applauded Malaysia's adherence to one-China policy.

Azizan said Malaysia was ready to develop the friendship and enhance friendly cooperation with Chinese armed forces especially the air forces, in a bid to promote bilateral relations between the two nations.
