Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zheng Xianglin handed over anti-cancer medicines and equipment worth around 18,000 U.S. dollars to the Nepali government on Monday in Kathmandu.

Zheng, on behalf of Chinese Ministry of Health, handed over the assistance to B.P. Koirala Cancer Hospital through Secretary of Nepali Ministry of Health and Population Ram Chandra Man Singh at a ceremony.

Zheng said as close neighbors, China and Nepal are ready to help each other and China had already sent four medical teams to the B.P. Koirala Cancer Hospital.

Expressing grief over the recent flood and landslide in Nepal which killed hundreds of lives, he said the Chinese government is willing to offer assistance to the flood victims of Nepal through Chinese Red Cross Society.
