The Institute of Computing Technology (ICT) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and EVOC Intelligent Technology signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing on December 8. EVOC Intelligent Technology will strengthen the application of the Loongson CPU in its special computer products, in order to promote the industrial development of the Loongson CPU in the field of high-performance embedded computers.

According to the agreement, ICT and EVOC will engage in further cooperation in the field of high-performance embedded computers, and create more top products.

Chen Zhilie, board chairman of EVOC, explained that Loongson CPU has full proprietary intellectual property rights, as well as broad market prospects in the field of high-performance embedded special computers. So far, EVOC has been the first in the world to launch a variety of embedded products based on Loongson CPU technology, such as the Loongson-2E wide-temperature-range anti-seismic waterproof vehicle computer, the Loongson-2F-PC104 structural embedded computer, the Loongson-2E-4 net port and network application motherboard, and other new products with high-efficiency and low energy consumption.
