Discussion Sessions of Delegations

Some discussion sessions of delegations at the Great Hall of the People will be open to the press. Journalists are advised to arrive and go through security check at the eastern entrance of the Great Hall of the People with their Congress press cards 40 minutes in advance.

Information about timing, venue and name lists of delegations in the context of discussion sessions will be released by the Center and on its website. Journalists may listen to a session of their choice and move on to another session during the discussions. When doing so, they should follow the guidance of the staff and enter a room only at the intervals of interventions.

Besides, journalists are requested to be seated in the press area when listening (or photographing and audio and video recording), and not to enter the area reserved for delegates. Arrangements may be made for questions from journalists before the conclusion of discussions, but no separate interview with individual delegates can be arranged at this point. Journalists wishing to interview individual delegates should make applications on the Press Center website.

Tours

The Press Center will invite journalists from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and foreign countries covering the Congress to field visits and tours. Detailed information about the tours will be released by the Press Center and on its website in due course. Journalists interested in the tours may apply on the Press Center website.
