Tri-network integration begins test runs in more cities

China recently issued the second list of 42 cities selected for the pilot tri-network integration (integration of telecom, radio and TV, and Internet networks) project.

The list includes Tianjin and Chongqing which are directly governed by the central government; 22 provincial capitals such as Shijiazhuang in Hebei province, Taiyuan in Shanxi province, and Hohhot in Inner Mongolia; Zhejiang province’s Ningbo with independent planning status; and 17 other cities such as Yangzhou in Jiangsu province, Foshan in Guangdong province, and Xiaogan in Hubei province.
