China's research vessel returns to Qingdao

A scientist on board the reasearch vessel Dayang Yihao, or Ocean One, embraces his daughter after the vessel docked at the Olympic Sailing Center in Qingdao, east China's Shandong Province, Dec. 11, 2011. The vessel has just returned from a scientific expedition in the Indian, Pacific and Atlantic oceans. The expedition, kicking off on Dec. 8, 2010, was the third and largest round-the-world ocean probe in the history of China's deep-sea exploration. (Xinhua)
