The Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2008 Olympic Games (BOCOG) is expected to expand the team of foreign experts to 230 next year form the current legion of 30, a human resources official said on Wednesday.
Xu Zhijun, vice director of BOCOG's human resources department, told a press conference that BOCOG has attached great importance to hiring foreign talents since it was founded in 2001, and over 30 foreign specialists are now working at BOCOG.
"With the growing demands for professional and skillful brains, we will recruit more foreign talents," Xu said.
"An estimated 230 foreign staff will be working with BOCOG when the Olympic Games open in August next year," he added.
According to Xu, BOCOG has a staff of 1,800 at present.
