Four Iraqis arrested in Mexico for holding false passports
font size

Mexico's National Migration Institute (INM) arrested four undocumented Iraqi citizens in the coast of southeastern Mexican state of Chiapas, said the INM on Thursday.

The Iraqis, a woman and three men, traveling in a bus of the Omnibus Cristobal Colon Company, became suspicious to INM inspectors as the four did not speak Spanish or English.

They admitted holding false passports during the inspection, and thus were arrested for violating the General Population Law and using forged documents.
