EU condemns suicide bombing in Turkey
font size

The European Union strongly condemns the suicide bombing in the Turkish capital Ankara that killed six people and injured over one hundred, the current German EU presidency said in a statement on Wednesday.

"The presidency utterly condemns this terrible crime and extends its deepest sympathy to the families of the victims," it said.

The European Union was "deeply shocked" at the "ruthless" attack, it said, adding that the criminals must be "tracked down and brought to justice."

Investigators said the suicide bomber, who carried out the attack on Tuesday, used methods similar to those of a Kurdish rebel group.
