font size

Polish Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski and visiting Ukrainian President Vikotr Yushchenko met Friday to discuss bilateral economic cooperation and preparations for the EURO 2012.

The two leaders talked about the construction of the Odessa- Brody-Plock pipeline, the government press office said in a press release.

The Odessa-Brody pipeline was completed in 2002. And the extension part between Brody and Plock will make it possible to deliver the Caspian crude to Poland and then to other Baltic states, Polish PAP news agency reported.

The project is of great importance to Europe, Kaczynski was quoted as saying.

The two leaders also exchanged views on the preparations for the EURO 2012 soccer championship and mutual investment.
