font size

Prince Albert II, head of state of Monaco, arrived in Beijing on Tuesday afternoon for a four-day state visit to China from April 24 to 27, at the invitation of President Hu Jintao.

This is the first visit by Prince Albert II since he became head of state of Monaco.

During the visit, Hu, top legislator Wu Bangguo and Premier Wen Jiabao will meet with Prince Albert II, respectively. He will also visit some venues for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, including the National Stadium, dubbed the "Bird's Nest" for its giant latticework structure of metal girders.
