Young Africans of Tanzania are scheduled to play El Merreikh of the Sudan in this year's African Confederation Cup soccer tournament.
The Young Africans, just ousted from the African Champions League after losing to Esperance of Tunisia 3-0 on aggregate, were relegated to the Confederation Cup.
The Tanzanian eleven will play their Sudanese counterparts in their opening leg on May 5 in Mwanza, with the return leg slated for two weeks later in Khartoum.
El Merreikh advanced to the fourth round of the Confederation Cup after defeating Association Sportive Olympique de Chlef from Algeria 3-1 on aggregate.
Young Africans played El Merreikh three times in the past and never beat the Sudanese side.
El Merreikh has so far held a record of two wins against one draw with Young Africans in their previous encounters held in 1973 and then in 1986.
