Introduction to Strong Nation Forum

The Strong Nation Forum, launched in 1999, is the first forum concerning politics and current affairs established by net media. Famous for its sharp topics and speeches, there are 500,000 subscribers, 200,000 of which are online during peak periods. It has been recognized as "the most notable Chinese forum".

Over the last eight years, the Strong Nation Forum has established itself as the best online community by sticking to authoritative figures and hot topics as well as highlighting diversity and interaction.

Currently more than 2000 guests have appeared on the forum, including senior officials from China like the Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Cheng Siwei, Xu Jialu, and Gu Xiulian, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee Luo Haocai, Zhang Huaixi, Zhang Meiying, Minister of State Administration of Work Safety Li Yizhong, and important politicians and academics from overseas like Russia's First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, the Director-General of the WTO Pascal Lamy, the Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Bolat Nurgaliyev, Nobel Laureate for Economics and "Father of Euro" �C Robert A. Mundell, former Mexican president Ernesto Zedillo, former Prime Minister of France Michel Rocard, and several ambassadors to China from Russia, Britain, Germany, and Italy.
