    Premier Wen, S Korean president vow to boost ties

    Hailstone attacks SW China county

    Mengla county located in SW China's Yunnan Province experiences hailstone attack on April 9 which causes certain degree of damage to plants such as banana. The local authority has started up emergency mechanism to deal with the disaster.

    Cloud sea envelops Penglai

    A cloud sea was seen above Peng Lai, at the tip of Shandong Province, on April 8. Thick advection fog floated slowly in, cloaking scenic spots and buildings for approximately half an hour. The town looked like a fairyland.
